Greetings,
Recently, in our private consultations, there has been a clear theme: light. For many, including myself, that which has been hidden is now being illuminated. For One House of Peace, what has not been working is clear and what is working is not only clear, but expanding exponentially.
At the beginning of the month, the Fundraiser for Japan (Cultivating Loving-Kindness: Healing Ourselves and the World through Conscious Intention) inspired over $3000 in donations for the cause. Many thanks to Hiromi T'ai Chi of Charlotteville, VA, for hosting this special event. In particular, I was moved by the experience of chanting with over thirty other people. Photos of the event have now been posted on our facebook page. One House of Peace will be further developing the work that began with this event. Next stop: The Peoples Yoga in Portland, OR.
Thanks also go to Studio 206 for hosting a fantastic workshop, 'Receiving the Peace of a Quiet Mind,' on April 2nd. Our next Charlottesville practice opportunity will be offered this June. Details to come.
Private consultations continue to be going well and I'm pleased to report that thanks to Skype it's been easy to stay in close contact with those from afar. Our next available openings are in May. Contact info@onehouseofpeace.org for more information and/or to schedule an appointment.
I am especially happy to announce that thanks to the advocacy of long term practitioners of One House of Peace, we will continue to have a weekly meditation gathering in Sacramento that will be open to all. This group will meet on Thursday nights at the Yoga Seed Collective. When I'm in Sacramento, we will have our regular sitting meditation followed by a group discussion. All other weeks the periods of sitting/walking meditation and chanting will be led by seasoned practitioners. Thursday, April 28th at 7:30pm will be our first sit and group discussion at the Yoga Seed. I'm looking forward to it! All are welcome.
Many other exciting events on the way, including a four day retreat in a redwood forest in July. See below for details!

We continue to receive wonderful feedback from folks about theOne House of Peace facebook page as a way to stay engaged in practice on a daily basis. We invite you to join us.
