With the word 'meditation' comes many beliefs about the need to quiet the mind. The idea of meditation can often be so loaded we give up before we even start because we are convinced there is no possible way to quiet the voices in our head. But what if our thoughts weren't something to get rid of? What if there was a way to approach practice that allowed us to find stillness without the effort and hopelessness we associate with a meditation practice?

In this workshop you will learn how to access a quiet mind in a manner that bypasses these conditioned tendencies. You will also experience specific breath work that halts the habit to spin the mental loops that lead to discontent, isolation, and fear. This workshop will be open to those new to Awareness Practice and those more experienced. Pre-registration (registration@onehouseofpeace.org) is requested but not required.
