Upcoming August Workshop

The Joy of Consciously Returning to Compassion
Saturday, August 7th
at Asha Yoga
1:00pm - 3:30pm, $35

How does the habit of judgment, criticism, and self-punishment grip you? Do you have trouble manifesting the change that you desire? Do you believe that you need to struggle in order to learn, to grow? We are taught to believe that judgment and criticism assist us in being the people we want to be, but in fact, it is this same judgment and criticism that block our growth. This workshop will focus on specific Awareness Practice tools to help us find the unconditional love that can free us from these patterns. We will also focus on how -- on an energetic level -- we can tame our inner critic. You will learn to bring consciousness to the various ways we are conditioned to abandon ourselves and help to discover the ways we manifest "I am not enough" in our lives. We will shed light on how self-criticism blocks us from transformation and will access the freedom to make different choices.

In this workshop you will learn skills that can be applied to your everyday practice and life -- we will learn to how to break the cycle of criticism and instead navigate through the world from a place of consciousness and compassion. We will achieve this though meditations that will assist us with being present and in the body, as well as learning how to integrate our inner mentor into our daily lives. Join us as we learn to live in a state of compassion and freedom that our conditioned habits of self-criticism have taken from us.
